Sorry, my dear friends, but I have to use transliteration writing this message.

Itak, ya v Amsterdame! Everything went just great! I arrived to Sheremetyevo at 02.50. The driver who brought me there was a pretty handsome young man. At first I was afraid that the driver would be just a regular very talkative old man who will be chatting with me all the time and make me angry. But I've got the right opposite driver: a young man who didn't say a word during our trip.

When I arrived to the airport, all the gated were closed, because the next flight was scheduled to take off in 3 hours. There were just a few people waiting in the airport, so it took only around 30 minutes to complete all the check-in procedures. My baggage didn't attract any attention from the customs worker, so I was pretty satisfied with everything. 1.5 hours of time before we were allowed to enter our plan I spent walking around duty free shops and talking with Kami by phone.

A very cheerful stuardess greeted me at the door of the plain. The plane itself was small like our TU-134, but unlike TU-154 it was very comfortable. Besides, my seat was in the very beggining of the plane, so I had absolutely no complains about the trip. Ah, no, I have one complain: a meal was awful. I know that it was just a breakfast, so I couldn't expect a lot, but two wet sanwiches is something that I didn't expected to see at all! Anyways, the Royal Dutch Airlines could provide better meal.

It was cloudy all the time, so I couldn't see land at all. It upsets me a bit, because we were crossing very interesting places, but not too much, because I was sooo sleeepyy. Well, though my place was at the window, I couldn't sleep. I can't sleep on my back at all, I need to put my face, my cheeks on something, but it's very hard to do in a plane.

As I arrived to the Amsterdam Airport (which is called Schipchol or something like that), I was surprised how huge it is! Our Sheremetyevo is a child against this monster. Maybe it's just because there are no separate terminals like in Sheremetyevo, but everything is united in one huge system. Anya will arrive here at 12.05, so we will spend together less than one our. Maybe even less than half an hour, because the gates for my next plane will be opened at 12.20. So, to kill the time I decided to buy 1.5 hours of the Internet access which cost me 12 euros. I have 58 minutes left and after my time is over, I will go to local McDonalds and try what they're cooking.

Sorry for writing in English, but I gave up writing with transliteration, because it makes my brain to hurt.

@темы: позитивненько, просто болтовня

В Советском Союзе секса не было, да-да!
I am very glad for you. Don`t apologise. it`s a good practice. You wrote that visited McDonalds, does he better than our? ;)
Be not upset because of overcast. It is better to visit interesting places, than to look at them from above. And clouds are fine.
Can you write about people? it would be very interesting for me in what they differ from us?
Write more!

Unfortunately, at the time I visited McDonalds here, they were serving McBreakfast in which I am not interested at all. So, I had a lunch in another cafe instead.

As for people, sure, they differs a lot! Here, in the airport, there are lots of people of all nationalities you can imagine. So, in overall, I feel like a stranger in a crowd of weirdos. Some of people seem to be normal, but some of them act like total freaks. But they're not freaks, their mentality just differs with me very much.

Thanks for your answer. Can you say that they have more freedom at all or that they are have an other system of restrictions? I do not mean the law, I say about mentality.

Честно говоря, я не думаю, что здесь дело в разительно различающихся понятиях о свободе. Тут скорее дело просто в сильных различиях в интонациях, с которыми говорят люди, в громкости речи.
